DGM HQ.
Morning rush hour I…
II…
A broad accent of the local kind is coming through the wall between the Venal Chamber of DGM HQ & the adjoining office of our landlord, Butcher Fry of the Village Shop. This 1930s modest construction, finished in pebble-dash, replaced the thatched cottage that burnt down; this modesty continues to have effect on our DGM lives, on a daily basis. The building has now been listed, as part of the village streetscape to be saved for future generations. This is a mixed blessing because, as a building, it sucks.
The sun is shining. I am awaiting a delivery of a package addressing an interview at the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square in pursuance of a US work visa.
10.05 Reading of the triadic kind. To e-flurrying while listening to The Third Day from the Big Chill Festival, August 7th. 2005. This was the debut of the first generation of the Solar Voyager, later improved by the addition of a second Eventide 8000 & an Eclipse. D3BC is very mellow. I am being persuaded: mellow is good.
10.37 Big Chill Day Three hasn’t gone anywhere. But it hasn’t gone there very pleasantly. MellowI Mellow! It’s so mellow!
